The Scoot ‘n Pull is one of those inventions I wish I’d come across sooner. After a few months of pulling Munchkin up slopes and home from the park when tired, Husband’s back was definitely crying out for one.
The Scoot ‘n Pull is an ingenious strap that hooks round the handles of a scooter so that you can pull your little one along when they’ve had enough scootering for the day. It can also be used to hook over the back wheel so that you can carry it over your shoulder instead of having to struggle with keeping control of a fractious child and a wayward scooter (or is that just my family?).
It comes in lots of lovely bright colours, yellow, red, pink, purple, blue and green, so you can be sure to get the perfect colour for your little one and their scooter.
There’s no effort involved in pulling, which is great. In fact, Husband’s back is very grateful!
The only possible issue is that the scooter can tip over on bumpy pavements. However, this shouldn’t generally be a problem and has nothing to do with the design of the strap, which I don’t think could be improved upon. Encouraging your child to stand a little way back from the handle, instead of right up close to it, makes all the difference. Husband assures me that this is basic maths but explaining centre of gravity calculations to three-year-old Munchkin didn’t go down well!
You can buy the Scoot ‘n’ Pull on their website for just £6.99 including postage in the UK.
