The Go!Go!Go! Show Live!

I took three-year-old Munchkin and Husband to see the Go!Go!Go! Show Live! at the Empire Leicester Square and we had a great time. Munchkin’s still talking about it a few weeks later and keeps singing the theme song with actions!

It’s a bouncy, fun show with very likeable characters and lots of catchy songs and great dance routines, as you’d expect from a show co-written by Mike Stock (of 1980s Stock, Aitken and Waterman fame). The characters are five friends and a mad scientist, and all have distinctive personalities, as well as good singing voices and dancing skills.

Great audience participation got all the kids and parents in the audience joining in, which was great to see and hear.

The plot is fun and engaging, and the stage set makes good use of the relatively small space.

In fact, it’s so good Munchkin is desparate to go again. His favourite part? The bit with the lobster spray (you’ll have to see it to find out)!

Unlike many shows, the well-selected merchandise is reasonably priced and fits in well with the show. The CD’s on our Christmas list!

What’s also great is that the young fans get to meet the cast after the show and they generously sign postcards and merchandise, which went down really well with the kids, who queued patiently for a quick chat with their favourites.

The show is on until the end of August so there’s still plenty of time to catch this great show.

Disclosure: I was given tickets to the show, but my opinion is honest and all my own.
